Budding Author?
It seems nearly insurmountable, but I have toyed with the idea of writing a book for years. In the vein of writing about that which you know, my topic concerns getting pregnant, diagnosing the pregnancy, maybe losing the pregnancy, fantasy vs. reality, myth busting, dealing with what the books say, the doctors and their attitudes, side effects and symptoms of being pregnant, birth choices, birthing disappointments, if you have a c-section, dealing with the hospital, to pacifier or not, cloth vs. disposable diapers, breastfeeding issues, going home, the first year and learning how to cope, the surprises there in, all the gear we buy, and what we really use, etc.
If you stumble here, and have any experiences that you feel would fit in this genre, I would love to hear from you. I’d like to compile a file of tales and experiences from which to draw. If you want to share, concerning anything I’ve listed, and maybe something I’ve left out but you feel would fit, please email me with your story, name, email address, state or country in which you live, and whether or not you’d like to remain anonymous.
