Invaluable

That’s what I am. Not sure exactly how they mean “net worth” here, based on weekly hours, I think I’m worth about 12K per week. I think that’s a tad under. They say:

Your weekly hours worked as an unpaid family caregiver 621
Average weekly hours worked as an unpaid family caregiver (all respondents) 209.3
Your “net worth” as an unpaid family caregiver $12741.4
Average “net worth” as an unpaid family caregiver (all respondents) $2,668.01

How is this you say? Well, based on this survey, we women (or men) who stay home and coordinate all that we do, have added value multi-tasking jobs. Whaaa? Meaning, while I do one job nearly 24/7, which they call child/family care provider, which basically means I’m on duty and with the children and all their many needs each and every day of the week, I’m also the personal shopper, chauffer, chef and at least 72 other things at the same time. So I don’t work just a 40 hour week. Add it all up, and I work about 620 hours a week. Trust me. I do. Moms (or Dads)…go check it.

Then tell me what you’re worth!
