Isn’t he wonderful? SO smart, and so thoughtful, and just soooo…I do love Ariel. I also love his pet project, The Vocabulary Reclamation Project, because it’s a pet cause of mine. I hate losing, or being ashamed of, my identity as a Christian, because some whack-jobs are poisoning the well. I’ve decided recently to “take back my words.” I AM a Christian. I AM a follower of Jesus. Christ IS my personal savior. I am NOT an intolerant, war-mongering, vitriol-spewing hypocrite. People have a hard time believing that that is even POSSIBLE, and I have flat-out been told that “you can’t be a Christian and not vote Republican.” Now, if that’s not the stupidest thing…
Anyway, Ariel, though young, is always thoughtful and thought-provoking. I always come away from visiting his site with something to think about. I’m glad you enjoy his site. (He votes republican, BTW, but it doesn’t matter to me because I know what kind of a *person* he is.)
