Tents, tiles and some flooring
We finally got some great use out of a tent my folks gave us. The Colonel and Private 1 camped out in the backyard last night, after some time by the chimenea.
I snapped these early this morning…The Colonel reports an “awesome sleep”.
That’s the first Private, huddled in his sleeping bag, where at this time, 8:37, he still snoozes.
And the kitchen counter tiles were sealed last night, and will be ready for heavy duty use by supper, I hope.
Lastly, the big ol’ holes in the floor left after ripping out the original cabinet footprint…getting repaired, by Home Remodel Rock Star, the Colonel.
Today? Painting the new front door, after nearly 5 hours of priming (lots of leftover glue that had to be scraped). Housework. Lessons with the kids, some homemade play-doh, I think. The dog desperately needs a bath. Laundry. Some more trim work, if I can fit it in. Just another day. Thanks God, for the opportunity.
