Easter
Is Christ’s mighty love. A love we cannot begin to imagine. The fullfillment of a plan woven into the very fabric of time, for all time, for all who will believe. The greatest victory over death, for once and for all. The ultimate sacrifice that saves us all from the humanity into which we were born, that is less than Holy and prone to sin, and that would separate us from the incredible gift of a life beyond our wildest fantasies. A life with God. With no pain. No sadness. No loss. Only joy. A life where not even a lamp, or the sun, or the moon will be needed, as the light of the Lord will be sufficient. A life that comes after this one, as an extension. The next chapter. One I can only accept in faith, as it seems so outrageous.
These are my words, Christ said, which I spoke to you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled. Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day, rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations… Luke 24:44-46
